You will not be short of good places to eat and drink. In and around Nerja, you will find a varied selection of excellent restaurants offering typical Andalucian or international fare, whether your taste is for Indian, Thai, Italian, French, German or British restaurants.
Tapas is a popular local favourite and the ‘Tapas Trails’ are a popular way of discovering the real Nerja hidden away in the back streets.

The best place to eat in Nerja, a family affair going since the 1950s with great atmosphere by the beach and even better Paella. Busy but good fun too. www.ayonerja.com
Antica Roma, 12 Carabeo
Good quality pizza and pasta with beautiful, romantic views of the sea and the Balcon de Europa. The service can sometimes be lacking, but the views and the food make up for it.
Los Barriles, 7 Carabeo
A great little bar with huge amounts of atmosphere. The selection of local wines is very good and they serve amazing tapas.
Taste of India, Carabeo
Good value, offering good quality Indian dishes in airy surroundings.
Lan Sang, Calle Málaga
High class Thai food with a touch of Laos individuality. Not cheap, but the sumptuous surroundings, service and the food are wonderful. www.lansang.com
