Shopping
You can pick up your daily European newspaper from the local newsagent, your fresh bread and pastries or meat for the barbeque, all within 10 minutes walk. For more adventurous shopping, the old town centre has a wide variety of shops, boutiques, antiques and local ceramics plus much more.

Markets
There are two weekly markets in Nerja with others daily in the region.

Nerja’s Tuesday market offers lots of bargains – clothes, household accessories, good quality fresh fruit and vegetables all sourced from local farms.

The Sunday flea market is an Aladdin’s cave of amazing antiques, second-hand clothes, books, artwork, Moroccan rugs, jewellery, toys, household goods, electrics, pots, ceramics and knick-knacks. You can find amazing gems and real bargains – especially if you enjoy a bit of bartering and are prepared to haggle.
